Paris Olympics: Vegetarian meals on the menue to reduce carbon footprint
With just a few weeks to go before the Olympics kick off in Paris, chefs are getting ready to serve more than 40,000 meals. The Paris games are set to make history by offering more vegetarian cuisine than any previous editions. This as part of a pledge to limit greenhouse gas emissions. The committee says the event's plant-based offering will help halve the carbon footprint of meals, compared to the Rio and London games.
