Man dead after SE 82nd shooting late Thursday night

A man is dead after a shooting in Southeast Portland late Thursday night, authorities said.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A man is dead after a shooting in Southeast Portland late Thursday night, authorities said.

According to Portland police, officers responded to Southeast 82nd Avenue just before 11:45 p.m. after receiving reports of a disturbance.

Before officers arrived at the scene, they said they also received reports that shots had been fired and someone had been hit.

When they arrived at the scene, officers said they found a man dead and no suspects.

During the investigation, Southeast 82nd Avenue was closed from Southeast Ramona Street to Southeast Woodstock Boulevard.
