IF you’ve ever shopped in Aldi or Lidl then you’ll probably have experienced its ultra-fast checkout staff.
Aldi’s speedy reputation is no mistake, in fact, the supermarket claims that its tills are 40 per cent quicker than rivals.
It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible – and this, the budget shop claims, helps keep costs low for shoppers.
Efficient barcodes on packaging means staff are able to scan items as quickly as possible, with the majority of products having multiple barcodes to speed up the process.
It also uses “shelf-ready” packaging which keeps costs low when it comes to replenishing stock.
Any savvy shopper will be familiar with the middle aisle of Lidl.
From pet toys to kitchen must-haves, it’s filled to the brim with different irresistible bargain buys that are on offer each week.

Sturdy and durable, it’s perfect for housing everything from garden tools and watering equipment to outdoor games.
Louise says that garden storage is a total ‘must’[/caption]Plus, it comes with wheels and carry handles for easy transportation.

Alternatively, if you’re looking to give your outdoor haven a quick and easy makeover in time for the warmer weather, then look no further than the ‘Parkside raised planter.'”
Costing just £19.99, it’ll not only add an instant pop of colour into your garden but is also a “comfortable height for planting and harvesting.”
Next up, Louise brands the ‘flexi garden hose,’ which costs £24.99, a “life changer.”
With a high quality braided hose, it extends from 10m to 30m with water pressure, making your morning and evening watering routine a whole lot simpler.
