SAMMY Lou, a 37 year old mum of four, took the brave decision to film herself without her false teeth – and has been applauded for inspiring others

Giggling as she waved her dentures, Sam insisted that she prefers the look of her face with no teeth.

“I rock a bald mouth,” she said.

“Yes I have these things I have named Tammy that I put in my mouth to help me chew but I don’t have teeth.”

“I embrace my bald mouth, my mouth feels so good, it feels healthy.

“I do not care, it does not bother me.”

Sam had 23 teeth removed in February because they were so sensitive, and decided not to get implants.

She explained: “My teeth were sensitive and after several failed dental procedures continuing to fix only prolonged the inevitable.

“And they just hurt. So I said screw it and had ’em pulled. I simply couldn’t afford to try and keep ’em anymore.”

She added: “I have been embracing my bald beautiful mouth for 19 weeks now, since February 26 when I had 23 teeth extracted from my mouth.”

Now Sam only wears her set of false teeth at mealtimes.

“I do not have implants,” she said.

“I have no intention of getting implants.”

She told her 126,000 TikTok followers that she does not care if some people are freaked out by the way she looks: “Sorry some of y’all are freaked out over my mouth.

“I know teeth isn’t what people want to talk about but it’s a huge thing to so many people and so many people need to see that it’s perfectly OK to not have the ones you were born with.

“We replace so many failed body parts without judgment and teeth should be no different.

“If you are distraught over this decision because you are not getting implants, it’s OK I’m not getting implants and I’m OK with it.

I look like a little old lady and I love that, I love I everything about it.

“I look like a witch.

“When I was younger wanted to be a witch for Halloween every year because I just love witches.

“Now I officially look like a witch.

“Teeth help me if I want to eat or chew food, or I just eat without my teeth in which I don’t like to do.

“I like to put my teeth in before I eat.

“This is what I look like with them in,” she smiled, transforming her face entirely.

“Do I regret it? No. I love my new smile. I love my new teeth, they work well for me.

“I’ve had minimal pain and I’m just trucking right along,” added Sam with a giggle.

Hundreds of followers applauded her brave decision.

Kib0049 said: “Your energy and your confidence is actually so amazing you’re probably giving so many other people confidence without knowing it.

Another said: “Thank you for bringing awareness to young people with dentures.”

“We need to start a bald Mouth group I’ve had mine now for 13 years,” said medicalman.

Biggest beauty mistakes

Fabulous' Beauty Editor Tara Ledden has shared the do's and don'ts when it comes to beauty.

“No matter how much time and money you spend on your beauty routine, if you’re not getting the basics right, the rest is wasted.

“There aren’t many non-negotiables, but these are the biggest beauty mistakes sabotaging your regime.”

  • Not wearing SPF: Sun-damage is the main cause of premature skin ageing, so if you want to keep your skin looking plump and glowing, sun cream is vital.
  • Using expired products: Best case, they’re ineffective and don’t deliver the results they promise, worst case they cause irritation and infection. The shelf life of beauty products differ – for example, mascara is usually good for 3-6 months while lipstick can last for 9-18 months. Check the ‘POA’ symbol on the packaging (it looks like a jar and will have a number inside for how many months it’s safe once opened. If you can’t remember when you opened your product, throw it away and start again, marking the month and year with a permanent marker on the packaging.
  • Not knowing your undertones: If you’re using make-up with the wrong undertones, it’ll never look natural no matter how much you blend it! An easy trick to work out whether you have cool, warm or neutral undertones is to check the veins on your wrist – if they look blue, you have cool undertones, if they’re green, you have warm and if they’re a mix you have neutral.
  • Skipping heat protector: It might feel unnecessary, but much like sun damage on the skin, excess heat is the most common cause of hair damage. So, if you want shiny, healthy hair, or you’re trying to grow it longer, using a heat protection product is key.
  • Not washing your face before bed: it’s as simple as this, if you’re not washing your face before you go to sleep, everything that’s been on your skin during the day is sitting there for even longer, clogging your pores and drying out the surface. Any skincare applied on top isn’t going to be effective with a layer of dirt underneath, and you’re probably going to end up with dirty pillows too – yuck!
