GAME ON! Mattel Launches Colorblind Accessible Games

(KIAH) - Big news coming from toy company Mattel. With over 300 million people in the world experiencing colorblindness, the company is working to break down barriers to game play and help advance awareness of those affected by the disability.

This week, Mattel announced they will be launching colorblind accessible games. It plans to have at least 80% of its global games, including Uno and Phase 10, available for those with colorblindness by the end of the year and 90% in 2025. This also includes mobile Mattel games like Uno Mobile.

That's not all. Mattel will also be donating over $30K worth of colorblind accessible games to summer camps nationwide through the YMCA. You can purchase the games on the Mattel shop or Amazon.
