Milestones: Good news about Marin people

Dean’s list: Grace Suzanne Brady, of Novato, was named to the dean’s list with distinction at the Catholic University of America for the spring 2024 semester.

Graduation: Justin Rosenthal, of Fairfax, graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in marketing.

Recognition: Hamilton K-8 School in Novato was recognized as a Gold FIDE Chess School by the International Chess Federation.

Recognition: Cheryl Paddack, chief executive officer of North Marin Community Services, will serve as grand marshal for Novato’s Fourth of July Parade.

Recognition: Lisa Veto, librarian and director of religious education at Saint Hilary School in Tiburon, and Michelle Lee, reading specialist at Reed Elementary School in Tiburon, were honored with Educator of the Year awards by the Rotary Club of Tiburon-Belvedere on June 5.
