Staten Island man stabbed and robbed by teens: NYP

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A man was attacked and robbed by a group of teenagers in the South Beach neighborhood of Staten Island on Wednesday afternoon, according to the police. 

The incident occurred at 1:50 p.m. near Sand Lane and Father Capodonno Boulevard. The victim was stabbed in the back and leg during the robbery by four teens. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to recover from his injuries, police said. 

The assailants were last seen fleeing the scene, and no descriptions of the attackers have been provided. 

No arrests have been made, police said.

It remains unclear what the teens stole from the victim.
