Escaped Union City inmate arrested in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A 26-year-old inmate who escaped from a Union City prison was arrested in Oklahoma City on Tuesday night.

Samuel Stevens, 26, reportedly escaped from the Union City Community Corrections Center at around 5:42 p.m. on Sunday.

Stevens was sentenced to seven years in prison back in 2021 on drug trafficking charges out of Cleveland County.

According to an 'X' post by Oklahoma City Police, Stevens was arrested by officers near NW 12th St. and Classen.
