Arrest warrant issued for man charged with killing Enid crossing guard

GARFIELD COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — The Garfield County Sheriff's Office has issued an arrest warrant for a man charged with killing an Enid school crossing guard back in October.
According to court records, 43-year-old Roberto Cruz Lopez was scheduled to appear in court on Monday, but didn't show up.
Lopez was charged with first degree manslaughter in October 2023 after allegedly running over 61-year-old crossing guard Dan Luskey near an elementary school.
Luskey was transported to OU Health in critical condition following the incident. He was taken off of life support and died of his injuries several days later.
