Wildfire ravages ancient ruins in western Turkiye

ISTANBUL: Firefighters were battling a huge blaze on Turkiye’s Aegean coastline Wednesday that ripped through the ruins of the ancient port city of Assos near the Dardanelles Strait, a local official said.
