NATIONAL SUMMARY
A cold front progressing into the Southeast will bring
thunderstorms with a risk of localized damaging wind gusts
to southern Alabama, southern Georgia, the Florida Panhandle
and the central and eastern Carolinas tomorrow. Spotty,
non-severe thunderstorms are expected just to the north and
over the Florida Peninsula. Morning showers will strengthen
to thunderstorms over the Rockies with flash flooding, large
hail, damaging wind gusts and even a tornado all possible.
That risk will extend as far east as the western Dakotas and
western Nebraska. Afternoon thunderstorms may extend as far
east as eastern Minnesota and central Iowa. Morning showers
will affect much of New England, although rain may be
steadier in northern, central and eastern Maine.
