Tulsa King Season 2 Premiere Date and Teaser: Stallone is Back!!

Tulsa King Season 2 Premiere Date and Teaser: Stallone is Back!!

Has this been the longest wait in history, or what?

OK, Euphoria fans have something to say about that, I’m sure. But for those of us who fell in love with Sylvester Stallone’s mafia man and fish-out-of-water Dwight Manfredi, it’s been far too long.

The wait is almost over as today Paramount+ announced that the highly anticipated second season of the hit original series Tulsa King, starring Oscar nominee Stallone, will premiere on Sunday, September 15, in the U.S. and Canada.

Paramount+ international markets will have to wait a little longer, beginning on Monday, September 16.

The service also debuted a first-look teaser of the new season, which you can see below.

It’s not too revealing outside of a TV Fanatic favorite, Neal McDonough joining the series in some capacity.

That’s not a surprise since he’s already worked within the Taylor Sheridan family with a stint on Yellowstone as the nutso Malcolm Beck.

Other than that, it’s the signature Stallone humor we’ve grown to love and the cast with him playing right into his hands.

In Season 2, Dwight and his crew continue to build up and defend their growing empire in Tulsa, but just as they get their bearings, they realize that they’re not the only ones who want to stake their claim.

With looming threats from the Kansas City mob and a very powerful local businessman, Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe while keeping track of all his affairs.

Plus, he still has unfinished business back in New York.

Thank goodness for that last tidbit. We are not ready to say goodbye to the antics to be had from that group of mafia clowns.

And yes, they are clowns, which only makes Dwight more of the champion in our eyes.

In addition to Stallone and McDonough, Tulsa Kind also stars an incredible ensemble cast that includes Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Vincent Piazza, Tatiana Zappardino, Annabella Sciorra, Frank Grillo, Domenick Lombardozzi, Andrea Savage, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany.

Who else was hoping for a look at Frank Grillo in the teaser?

Maybe he’ll make it in the official trailer when it arrives.

Executive produced by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan, Oscar nominee and writer Terence Winter, and multi-award-nominated director Craig Zisk, Tulsa King is currently filming in Oklahoma and Atlanta.

The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios exclusively for Paramount+.

In addition to Taylor Sheridan, Terence Winter, and Craig Zisk, Tulsa King is executive produced by David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Sylvester Stallone, Braden Aftergood, and Keith Cox and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

The November 2022 premiere of Tulsa King, coupled with NFL ON CBS, set a new record at that time for subscriber growth in a single day since Paramount+’s launch and was the most-watched series on the service while in season.

Season one of TULSA KING will make its broadcast debut on the CBS Television Network on Sunday, July 14.

That gives you holdouts a change to get to know Dwight, and we highly suggest you take it!

This is the most recent example of Paramount Global’s strategy that brings Paramount+ originals to new audiences on its linear platforms.

Tulsa King is part of Sheridan’s growing slate on Paramount+, which includes 1923, 1883, Mayor of Kingstown, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, the upcoming Landman, and the second season of Lioness, which is currently in production.

With so much to love on the streamer, you've got to be a subscriber.

How excited are you for Dwight Manfredi's return in Tulsa King??
