LOVE Island’s Georgia Steel has her doubts about Joey Essex and Grace Jackson.
The former TV star spoke about the couple’s history and suggested that things may be tricky for the pair.
Grace and Joey dated briefly in 2023 in the outside world, leaving many fans wondering if it could be second time lucky for them.
In an exclusive chat with The Sun, Georgia said: “I’d like to think that Joey and Grace are for real. They’ve obviously got history and that changes things massively, especially given that he’s Joey Essex.”
“He went in there not knowing whether people would have presumptions about him or would couple up with him for the wrong reasons.
“If someone comes in and you’ve already connected with them on the outside, then you know they’re not about that,” she pointed out.
“It makes it easier because you don’t have the initial stage of getting to know the person, you can just move onto the next stage of the relationship.”
But sharing her doubts on whether the relationship had legs, she said: “However, I would say ask, if it didn’t work on the outside previously then how will it work when they get out this time?
“If it was going to be something, then why hasn’t it already happened?”
Things could be turning sour for the couple after Joey’s head appeared to be turned by newcomer Jessy Potts, 25.

Grace also rubbed Joey up the wrong way after having a cosy chat with latest bombshell, Konnor.
During the flirty exchange, Grace and Konnor discussed the possibility of finding themselves in a couple with one another.
As their private conversation got underway, Grace suggestively said to the hunk: “Is there anyone in here that you’d want to chat to that is in quite a secure couple.”
Laughing, Konnor quipped back: “Yeah definitely.”
As Grace pushed him for more, he told the stunner: “Well, you being one of them.”
She coyly giggled as he added: “But it is the history you’ve got with Joey.”
She then admitted: “No-one in here is closed off and you are here for yourself.
“I just wanted to chat to you because I think you are the nicest guy.”
The pair then shared a tight hug as sparks appeared to fly between them.
Joey appeared to be clocking on to a potential connection between the pairing as he looked on in a disgruntled manner.
So far Grace has only had eyes for Joey but did admit to finding PE teacher Omar Nyame, 25, “attractive”.
The budding connection between Grace and Omar was quickly stopped after Joey got involved in a heated feud with his co-star.
During tonight’s Love Island, Joey pulled Omar for a chat after growing concerned about his connection with Grace.
Joey said: “Obviously mate, you’ve got to understand I am hearing things…Grace has told me you’ve said a few things. She’s told you to behave….apparently you’ve been flirting with her.”
Omar interrupted: “But at the same time I’m going about my business…then I’m asking what’s been said and I ain’t being told what’s been said. So, that’s annoying me even more now…”
Joey told him: “I’m not trying to embarrass you.”
Hitting back, Omar replied: “But in the same breath you’re saying it’s no competition, it’s no competition and I’m thinking, I ain’t even trying to compete with you. Why did you say it then?”
