Vrooman Ave in Amsterdam closed for gas line repair

AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The city of Amsterdam has announced that Vrooman Avenue from Forbes Street to East Main Street will be closed for a gas line replacement. This closure is in effect until July 12 or until the work is done.

The road closure will be in place daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. No traffic will be allowed through and detour signs will be in place, so drivers are asked to take alternate routes. Anyone with questions can reach out to the Department of Public Works at (518) 842-3691.
