Topeka's Little Russia Chili Parlor hints at 'big changes'
TOPEKA (KSNT) - A Topeka restaurant with a lot of history is revealing some upcoming changes Wednesday including the arrival of new ownership.
Topeka's Little Russia Chili Parlor released a statement on social media June 26 announcing "Big changes afoot at the parlor." The restaurant will be closed the week of July 4 and it will be undergoing a change in ownership.
"It has been an inspiring experience to have come into contact and befriend so many kind and thoughtful folks ringing the bell as they came through the front door. Unconditional love."

The restaurant was once known as Porubsky's Deli which served locals for a century. It closed in 2022, becoming one of many local places which closed following the COVID-19 pandemic, later being given a new name and new owners later that same year. You can find the restaurant at 508 NE Sardou Avenue in Topeka.
