Gross revenue of Pakistan's federal SOEs sees 15 pct increase in FY 2023: report

ISLAMABAD, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Gross revenues of Pakistan's federal state-owned enterprises (SOEs) witnessed a 15 percent increase in the fiscal year 2023 (from July 2022 to June 2023) from the previous year, primarily driven by inflationary pressures, with the oil and financial sectors leading this growth.

Total aggregate profits were 703 billion rupees (around 2.5 billion U.S. dollars), while loss-making SOEs
