England’s Ollie Robinson- County Championship record with 43 runs in an over

England’s Ollie Robinson conceded a County Championship-record of 43 runs in a over while playing for Sussex against Leicestershire at Hove.

Robinson was taken by Louis Kimber for six fours and two sixes, with three boundaries coming off no-balls, in an expensive 9-ball over in which also he shipped a single.

The first ball was a fabulous six, with the second ball being a four on a no-ball, followed by another four, then a six, then a four, and another four for a no-ball, followed by another four and then again a four on a no-ball and final ball being a single run. The end score of the over was a whopping 43 runs (6, 4nb, 4, 6, 4, 4nb, 4, 4nb, 1).
