Market hit fresh record high, rallies for 3rd day; Nifty closes above 23,850

The domestic equity indices ended with strong gains on Wednesday, rising for third day in a row. The Nifty settled above the 23,850 mark. Media, oil & gas and private bank advanced while metal, realty and auto shares declined.
