FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Happy Wednesday!

We've got a mainly dry morning ahead of us, with just isolated shower potential. The bulk of our showers and thunderstorms hold off til lunch time and beyond. We'll see several rounds of showers and thunderstorms continuing the rest of the afternoon and evening, before eventually tapering tonight.

We do have a decent amount of heat and humidity around, so the Storm Prediction Center does have our area under a 2-out-of-5 risk for a severe thunderstorm, primarily as a damaging, gusty wind threat, so that is something we'll monitor.

We clear up quickly tomorrow, with lots of sunshine, and highs falling back to the lower 80s. Humidity drops significantly.

For Friday, expect just a few clouds out, with highs in the upper 80s. We'll then be tracking showers back into the region overnight and into Saturday.

Saturday is the least-nice weekend day, as we'll be dodging scattered thunderstorms throughout the day. Highs will top out near 90, with a muggy feel, making it feel even warmer.

Sunday will be nicer, with just an early morning shower chance, then mainly dry conditions the rest of the day, with highs in the low to middle 80s.
