Most Ghanaian marriages are illegal; several wedding premises are unlicensed — ORC

A significant number of marriages in Ghana may not be legal, according to the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC). Jemima Memaa Oware, who heads the registrar 39;s office, revealed on Tuesday, June 24, that most wedding premises in the country are not properly licensed to conduct marriages under the ordinance.
