But it was Conor Gallagher’s partner who was the ultimate main attraction.
Gareth Southgate shook things up by bringing the Chelsea midfielder into the starting line-up in place of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
And Aine May Kennedy certainly had heads turning with her stunning outfit in the family seats.
The Irish model looked beautiful as she rocked a black dress, high heels and sunglasses.
Unsurprisingly given her man’s introduction and the sunny weather in Cologne, Aine May sported a beaming smile.
And she was snapped taking a photo to mark the occasion.

Ollie Watkins’ Wag Ellie Alderson and Jordan Pickford’s wife Megan Davison posed for a selfie together in their matching home Three Lions shirts.
Dani Dyer, who is dating Jarrod Bowen, Harry Kane’s wife Katie Goodland and Anouska Santos, the partner of Luke Shaw, also opted to match the Three Lions on the pitch with their choice of tops.
John Stones’ partner Olivia Naylor, however, went for a beige crop top and matching linen trousers.
