EAMONN Holmes’ close friend has opened up about his ‘difficult’ split from Ruth Langsford saying ‘he’s the strongest person I know’.
Newsreader Isabel Webster, 41, who works with the broadcaster on GB News, has shown her support for the pair since their shock split.

The Sun caught up with Isabel on the red carpet outside the TRIC Awards in London today, and asked how Eamonn has been getting on.
When asked if she has support him during his split from Ruth, Isabel said: “100 per cent.
“I love Ruth and I love Eamonn and I’ve got nothing but love for them.
“I wish them all the very best – divorce is difficult for anyone.
“When you’re in the public eye, it’s got to be even more difficult
“I’ve been in touch with Ruth but you’ll have to ask her about her divorce.”
Eamonn joined GB News in 2022 after he left ITV‘s This Morning in 2021.

Isabel told us: “GB news is a little team – we’re up for four nominations today and lots of winners last year.
“Eamonn is inside and ready to go. He is absolutely fine. The guy is the strongest person I know.
“And he has his little team rooting for him and there for him.”
Back in May they shared the news that they had split.
An exclusive statement to The Sun on Sunday said: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”
Pals told how the couple drifted apart in recent months and Eamonn had moved out of the mansion they shared in Surrey.
Their last social media post where they were seen together was in July 2022, with the duo playing out a skit to promote her Feeling Fabulous event.
Eamonn and Ruth started dating in 1997, but went public in 1999.
In 2002 they welcomed their son Jack.
The former couple, who tied the knot in 2010, presented This Morning between 2006 and 2021.

December 2021 – After a year of being moved to the bank holiday presenting slot, both Eamonn and Ruth left This Morning.
January 2022 – Eamonn debuted on GB News, while Ruth stayed with ITV in her long-standing role on Loose Women.
September 2022 – Eamonn undergoes spinal surgery after years of back issues including a trapped sciatic nerve.
November 2022 – Eamonn falls down the stairs of his Surrey home with Ruth and breaks his shoulder, requiring a new operation.
