Free admission for customer appreciation at Malta Theatre

MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Malta Drive-in Theatre is offering free admission to all on Thursday for customer appreciation night. Attendees can see "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire" on screen one and "Wonka" on screen two with showtime at 8:55 p.m.

Customer appreciation night is a part of their 75th season anniversary. After customer appreciation night on Thursday, the Malta Drive-In Theatre will host a pajama party on Friday and Saturday.

Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas, and those who attend wearing them will be given free popcorn from the snack bar. Movies playing Friday through Tuesday include "Inside Out 2," "IF," and "A Quiet Place: Day One," followed by "The Strangers: Chapter 1."

Original owners Sarto and Leona Smaldone opened the Malta Drive-In Theatre on July 1, 1949. Today, there are less than 300 drive-in theatres still operating in the United States.
