President set to meet UN envoy in Brussels

President Nikos Christodoulides is expected to meet UN envoy Maria Angela Holguin in Brussels next week, on the sidelines of the European Council, it emerged on Tuesday.

Government spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis told the Cyprus News Agency (CNA) that, although no date had been set, the meeting was expected to take place on Thursday or Friday.

Holguin is expected to meet Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar in London next week.
