The Pioneer Woman Shared Her 'Super Simple' Disney Dole Whip Recipe & It's Only 5 Ingredients
Mickey Mouse pretzels, cinnamon churros, and beignets are iconic Disneyland treats, but nothing has quite the cult following as Dole Whip. The creamy, pineapple ice cream is tart and refreshing, and we dream about it in between visits to the parks. Now, you can satisfy the craving from the comfort of your own home thanks to Ree Drummond (The Pioneer Woman)’s new copycat recipe.
“Homemade #DoleWhip = every #Disney lover’s dream come true. ???? ????????” The Pioneer Woman Magazine wrote on Instagram. “Link in bio for the super simple recipe!”
The Homemade Dole Whip recipe, which one fan called “so delicious and refreshing,” requires only five ingredients to make! Blend frozen pineapple, vanilla ice cream, pineapple juice, and two other things together, stopping just “to push the pineapple chunks down into the blender as needed.” Super easy, right?
Next, pour the whole thing into a bowl, cover and freeze for at least 30 minutes. It’s ready to eat — unless you want to kick it up a notch. Then, Drummond recommends transferring a serving into a piping bag with a large star tip. Pipe the ice cream into serving bowls to make it look like it came straight out of a soft serve machine. Then just put on your favorite Disney movie and pretend you’re at the Happiest Place on Earth!
This literally couldn’t be easier to make. “So good and so easy! My boys and husband loved this,” one person commented. “Takes exactly like what I used to get at Disneyland.”
Another wrote, “Very good. The instructions say to freeze for 30 minutes – mine was still soft in the middle after 30 minutes but we ate it anyway and enjoyed it.”
