As the monsoon progresses, dengue cases in Bengaluru and Hyderabad are increasing. BBMP chief commissioner Tushar Giri Nath has tested positive and is recuperating at home. Dengue cases in Bengaluru have doubled, with 1,036 reported in June. Experts predict a severe dengue season in Telangana, with over 600 cases already recorded.
