Police: No complaint made regarding Walden Galleria bathroom social media claim

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- After a claim circulated on social media regarding an alleged incident inside a Walden Galleria bathroom, Cheektowaga Police told WIVB News 4 there has been no complaint made that "even slightly resembles" the situation as of Monday.

Police said that neither the department nor staff at the Walden Galleria had received any complaint that corroborated the details of the social media post, which they added has an "unknown origin."

Out of caution, police said a detective has been assigned to follow up on the claim, with the intent of verifying its validity.
