Capital Region restaurant inspections: June 17-21

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- At the end of each week, the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) releases its list of food service establishment inspections for that week. The establishments include restaurants, school cafeteria kitchens, park concessions, and other places that have commercial kitchens and serve food.

Here are the inspections from June 17 to 21 reported by the NYSDOH divided up by critical violations, non-critical violations, and no violations. You can find a list of all restaurant inspections for the last several years on the NYSDOH website.

Critical violations

Lai Lai Food Corp, 1536 Crescent Road in Clifton Park

  • Inspection date: June 17
  • Violations:
    • Critical: Potentially hazardous foods not cooled by an approved method
    • Critical: Potentially hazardous foods are not stored under refrigeration except during necessary preparation or approved precooling procedures

    • Plumbing and sinks not properly sized, installed, maintained; equipment and floors not properly drained
    • Pesticide application not supervised by a certified applicator
    • Floors, walls, ceilings, not smooth, properly constructed, in disrepair, dirty surfaces

  • Violations:

    • Critical: Precooked, refrigerated potentially hazardous food is not reheated to 165 degrees or above within two hours
    • Non-food contact surfaces of equipment not clean
