One arrested after fatal assault at Oklahoma City motel

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - A man has been arrested following a fatal assault at an Oklahoma City motel.
According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to a motel parking lot around 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, regarding an assault.
Upon arrival, authorities learned that 59-year-old Hemant Mistry had asked 41-year-old Richard Lewis to leave the property when Lewis punched Mistry, knocking him unconscious. Mistry was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Lewis was later found and arrested at a hotel in the 1900 block of S. Meridian Ave.
OKCPD says the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide tip line at 405-297-1200.
