One arrested in Idabel homicide investigation

IDABEL, Okla. (KFOR) - One man has been arrested in connection to a homicide in Idabel, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
On June 20, the Idabel Police Department requested the OSBI's help after responding to a shooting near SW Bokhoma St. and SW Monroe St. that afternoon.
Upon arrival, officers found 41-year-old Jimmy Lanham with an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.
According to the OSBI, the evidence gathered at the scene led special agents to 25-year-old Brady Van. He was arrested and booked into the McCurtain County Jail on a First Degree Murder charge.
