One shot dead in Southeast Baltimore on Sunday, police say

One person died from a shooting in the Southeast District on Sunday night, the Baltimore Police Department said.

Officers responded to the 400 block of North Montford Avenue in the McEderry Park neighborhood at about 11:37 p.m. for the report of a shooting. Police said they found an unresponsive male victim with apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a hospital, where he later died, police said.
