Millions of gamers could soon get access to one of 2024’s most popular games

THIS year has been amazing for gamers, with more incredible releases than we can keep up with.

From Persona 3 Reload to Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Stellar Blade, there are dozens of games all vying for the coveted Game of the Year title.

Hints suggest that Palworld will come to PlayStation shortly[/caption]

Among the long list of triple-A games, an indie hit stood out as a surprise cult success.

Palworld was initially described by many as ‘Pokémon with guns’ thanks to the similarity of the Pals’ designs to those from the popular Nintendo franchise.

However, once people began to play, they realised it’s a completely different genre, playing more like a survival crafting MMO.

At its high point, Palworld had more than 2million concurrent players on Steam alone, and that’s not including the huge number of Xbox and Game Pass players.

Currently it is only available on Xbox and PC, but there have been hints that it will come to a new Platform in the near future.

The community manager for Palworld, known as Bucky, recently tweeted out a teaser that Palworld will be coming to PlayStation.

Their tweet reads, “Palworld” with the name of the game surrounded by green, black, and white heart emojis.

They follow it up with, “I want to add more hearts, but not sure what colour would fit…hmm…how about….”

The next line has the name Palworld surrounded by the same heart emojis but now with a blue as well.

They finish the tweet with: “Looks good I think!” followed by the eyes emoji.

Blue is well known as the colour associated with PlayStation, which is why players believe that Bucky is hinting that the game will come to PS5.
