Love Island Samantha sparks huge feud with show legend live on Aftersun after his joke about her ‘running after’ Joey
LOVE Island star Samantha Kenny sparked a huge feud with Chris Taylor live on last night’s Aftersun.
Make-up artist Samantha, 27, was left devastated after being dumped from the Island when her fling with Joey Essex, 33, came to an end.
It was noted by many that the Scouser seemed “starstruck” by the former Towie star during their time in a couple.
And, while it isn’t clear when he made them, Samantha seemed to be unimpressed with some comments from show legend Chris, 33.
During her appearance on the ITV2 spin-off yesterday, Samantha was asked by host Maya Jama if she had anything to get off her chest.
The influence repled: “I do actually. He’s not here at the minute but Chris Taylor made a bit of a point, something about: ‘Samantha’s legs are tired from running after Joey.’ Something like that.
“Can I just say, he picked me, I didn’t pick him. No one was chasing Joey Essex. Chris, if you’re watching, you should know better. You’ve done the show twice, not once.”
As the audience erupted into laughter, Maya added: “Chris, if you’re watching, you’ve got 24 hours to respond. Get back, she’s sending shots.”
Viewers were disappointed to see her leave the villa and have been calling for her return in Casa Amor later in the series.
Her relatives have hit out at her treatment on the show after she was ditched by Joey in favour of his bombshell ex-girlfriend Grace Jackson.
Samantha’s sister Toni slammed ITV after a “tough week”, while also hitting out at her love rival Grace.
Toni wrote on Instagram: “ITV have a lot to answer for.”
A fan commented: “Could name many other girls that should have been dumped than her.”
Toni replied: “So could I… one of them being Grace! Slimy.”
While another follower echoed: “Grace needs to be voted out, she has mean girl vibes, you can tell she’s enjoying it.”
Sam’s sister responded: “Totally agree!”
Toni shared a touching photo of her and Samantha on her Instagram Stories and wrote: “No comment, shame on you ITV is all I have to say.”
Following her departure, Samantha said: “Obviously I am devastated to leave all of the girls behind but I am very excited now to see what my future holds and look forward to seeing what is next.
“I was true to myself and didn’t feel like it was a waste of my time because I followed what I felt was right for me.
“When it comes to Joey, I think if I knew what I know now, I perhaps would have done things differently.”
