One dead in Licking County motorcycle crash

MARY ANN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WCMH) -- One man is dead after a motorcycle crash Saturday morning in Mary Ann Township in Licking County.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said that Adam T. Messerall, 41, of Frazeysburg, was driving a 2012 Harley Davidson Road Glide north on State Route 79 at approximately 8:10 a.m. The motorcycle drove off the left side of the road, hitting a ditch, police said.

Messerall was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

The state patrol was assisted at the scene by the Licking County Sheriff's Office and Mary Ann Township EMS.
