“Only Murders in the Building” has been an Emmy hit for two seasons running, earning four awards out of 29 nominations over the past two years. Season three of the comedy-mystery series brought the show to Broadway where theater director Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) hoped to make a comeback, which introduced a new cast of potential victims and suspects including an arrogant Hollywood star (Paul Rudd), a struggling actress (Golden Globe nominee and Critics Choice winner Meryl Streep) and a documentarian (Jesse Williams).
