TIGHTWAD revellers hate bringing their own burgers and booze to barbecues — believing the hosts should provide everything.
More than a third of us expect to be treated to beer, wine and bangers without dipping into our own pockets, a poll has revealed.

But vegans and vegetarians are more likely to bring their own provisions in a bid to avoid being left hungry — with 82 per cent taking plant-based versions.
About 72 per cent of non-meat eaters reported feeling awkward at being catered for at a garden grill.
Though the summer sun may have only just finally arrived, 76 per cent of adults have already braved the dreary weather this year to attend barbecues.
Three-fifths of the 500 surveyed by retailer Next said Saturday afternoon was the best barbie time.
The store’s study said: “A barbecue get-together is the epitome of British culture.
Typically, Brits aren’t put off by bad weather when it comes to a barbecue.
“But with British summer being anything but reliable, having contingency plans for cold temperatures or rain is a good idea.”
