CBI registers FIR to probe 'irregularities' in NEET-UG

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a criminal case to investigate allegations of irregularities in the NEET-UG 2024 examination. The complaint alleges isolated incidents in a few states during the examination. The Ministry of Education has urged the CBI to conduct a comprehensive investigation into alleged irregularities, including conspiracy, cheating, impersonation, breach of trust, and evidence destruction.
