A savvy shopper shared the bargain find, which has had its price slashed by more than £35, on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

The stylish accessory has delighted homeowners, with many flocking to the comments to hail the amazing find.

Some were quick to say they “love” the “cute” household item for their homes.

“That would be nice for my bedroom,” one said.

A second chimed in: “I’ve been after this mirror for ages, but I didn’t want to pay £50 for it.”

A third added: “Need to go to Dunelm.”

Products that are typically discounted are usually seasonal items and old stock that Dunelm is trying to shift, so prices and stock will vary from store to store.

You can find your nearest branch by using the store locator tool on the Dunelm website – just enter your postcode.

The item is only available in-store and is no longer stocked on Dunelm’s website.

However, it’s important to note that stock will be limited and even if your local store has one on the shelf, the item might not be reduced to the same price.

But, there are plenty of bargains up for grabs. Shoppers were also quick to head to Dunelm to get their hands on an iconic piece of Bluey furniture amid warnings there were “only a few left”.

Bargain hunters have also been amazed by a stylish accent chair from Dunelm, with an incredible 75% off.

Dunelm has been slashing the prices of homeware and users of the Extreme Coupon and Bargains Facebook group said there were plenty of bargains up for grabs.

One shopper said: “Lots of bargains to be had ranging from blinds, curtains, furniture and household items.”

It’s always worth shopping around when looking for deals as you might be able to find a better one elsewhere.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn't mean it's always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

You can use sites like Price Spy, Idealo and Google Shopping.

And don’t forget that it’s not a bargain if you didn’t intend to buy it anyway.

Dunelm is not the only retailer offering homeware essentials at discount prices. B&M has been slashing homeware prices to as little as £1.

Shoppers can find further discounts in-store using the B&M scanning app to get money off their purchases.

The tool allows shoppers to discover discounted items before the staff has even reduced them.

The scanner lets you see if the item’s price is cheaper than advertised on the shop shelf.

Products that are typically discounted are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to shift, or they’re labelled “big brands” and “big savings”.

The scanner is completely free as well – you just need to download the B&M app.

What is the B&M scanner app?

SAVVY shoppers are using an app to find better discounts in stores.

Here’s how you can join the B&M bargain hunt:

  • Download the B&M app for free on any smartphone with an App Store or Google Play.
  • Once you’ve installed it on your device, click on the option labelled “more” on the bottom, right-hand side of the app home page.
  • You’ll then find an option that says “barcode scanner”. Click on this and you’ll open a camera screen.
  • Use the camera to hover over the barcode of the product you wish to check.
  • If the price comes up as lower, take it to the cash desk and it will automatically scan at the lower price.
  • You don’t need to sign up for the B&M app to use the barcode scanner.
