Kallakurichi hooch tragedy: Seven people discharged from hospitals, 157 undergoing treatment

As per the Kallakurichi district administration's report, a total of 220 people were admitted at hospitals in Tamil Nadu with new admissions being four, after the consumption of spurious liquor. Meanwhile, five people were discharged from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer), Puducherry, whereas 12 others are undergoing treatment. Three have been declared dead.
