Serena Williams Slips Into Futuristic Clogs at Sacai’s Spring 2025 Menswear Show in Paris
Serena Williams attended Sacai’s spring 2025 menswear show held today during Paris Fashion Week. Other notable attendees included Pharrell Williams, Rauw Alejandro, Chloe Kim and Eric Nam, among others.
Keeping comfortable, the famed athlete donned black clogs. The cozy style, likely from Sacai, featured a slip-on construction of glossy black leather uppers, accompanied by thick and flexible platform-esque soles and metal gold hardware that offered the silhouette a dazzling finish.
The style mimicked the look of chunky sneakers, given the non-slip tread fixed to the soles. The former tennis star’s footwear offered her ensemble a sporty and casual touch, providing her feet a nice reprieve from her usual pumps.
Sacai features a whole host of clogs-inspired styles in its footwear collection. These styles are chunky and oversized, cast in neutral black leather hues. The offerings are usually slip-on and include platform-esque soles that lift the wearer to new heights. The brand’s footwear offerings are futuristic and modern, exploring new and unique silhouettes by updating the classics in a Sacai fashion.
Accompanying her footwear, Williams wore a black poncho-esque suiting-inspired moment. The style was an oversized maxi length with pocket detailing, a collared neckline, button closures and vertical striping that mimicked the look of a classic blazer. The fashion fixture layered her poncho style over a black top or dress of some kind. Rounding out her look, Wiliams wore her hair in a chic low ponytail situated to one side.
When it comes to shoes, Williams often gravitates toward versatile and glamorous styles. The Nike-sponsored athlete’s sandals and pumps for formal events usually include accents like bold colors and crystals. On and off the tennis court, she regularly wears sneakers from Nike and Jordan Brand. In addition to wearing stylish shoes, Williams is a designer herself, having launched her namesake Serena clothing brand in 2018.
