Pagasa predicts rain showers in most parts of PH due to southwest monsoon

  MANILA, Philippines — Rain showers are expected in most parts of the country on Sunday due to the southwest monsoon, locally known as habagat, and localized thunderstorms, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). In its morning forecast, Pagasa said habagat will mainly affect the western portion of Southern Luzon.
