JDS MLC Suraj Revanna to face CID probe following arrest in sexual assault case

The Karnataka government transferred the case of JDS MLC Suraj Revanna to the CID on Sunday, following his arrest for allegedly sexually assaulting a party worker. Suraj, the elder brother of former MP Prajwal Revanna who faces rape charges, was booked under IPC sections 377 (unnatural sex), 342 (wrongful confinement), and 506 (criminal intimidation).
