India will win World Cup under Gautam Gambhir’s coaching: Sanjay Bhardwaj

The coach of former India opener Gautam Gambhir, Sanjay Bhardwaj, is said to think that Gautam Gambhir would make the best head coach for the country’s men’s cricket team. Bhardwaj thinks Gambhir’s leadership will guarantee India’s World Cup victory. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is rumoured to be looking for a new head coach.

“India is guaranteed a World Cup victory if Gautam Gambhir stays as the team’s coach for three to four years. If my student becomes the team’s coach, it will be a really fulfilling experience, Sanjay Bhardwaj told ANI.

The 2011 World Cup winner and former cricket player, Gambhir, has been connected to the position a lot in recent weeks and has the support of a number of other former cricket players.
The Indian squad is currently playing incredibly well in the upcoming T20 World Cup; they are unbeaten and very much certain to make it to the final four.

As the team showcases strong performances under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, Bhardwaj is hopeful that India will bring home the World Cup after a long 13-year wait.
“We have been performing very well. Earlier, our bowling attack was not good.
But now our bowling attack has also become good with pacers like Jasprit Bumrah. I hope that we will win the World Cup after 12 years,” Bhardwaj added.
