Extreme weather grips the nation in first weekend of summer

Residents of Rock Valley, Iowa, were forced to evacuate their homes due to extreme flooding after a broken levee sent water gushing into neighborhoods. The disaster comes as extreme heat grips much of the country, with more than 100 million people under heat alerts. NBC News’ George Solis reports.
