Construction worker shares his secret for combatting inner-thigh chafing in the summer, he says an $8 buy is a ‘godsend’
SOMETIMES summer fun also comes with severe skin rubbing.
And perhaps no one knows that better than a construction worker who had found a way to deal with inner thigh chafing.

Redditor Gtrdundave2 has shared the affordable product that helps to keep him comfortable in the hotter months.
If it works for him, it might be worth a shot.
“I’m a dude, but Body Glide is the product you want,” he said, in response to someone who was asking for ways to help with their chafing concerns.
“It’s like stick deodorant but for exactly what you are talking about,” he continued.
“It’s more for runners and athletes. But for me, the construction worker, it’s a godsend.”
BREATHE BETTER
Target sells Body Glide Original Anti Chafe Balm for $7.99.
The balm works to unclog pores with its long lasting formula, allowing skin to breathe better.
By forming an invisible barrier, it helps to prevent friction caused by clothing, skin rubbing, and even friction from outwear, gear, shoes, and apparel.
They recommend applying the non-greasy formula before putting clothes on.
It can also be used to prevent chafing caused by bra wear.
Another Redditor was just as much a fan of the find.
“I also use Body Glide and it seems to work well enough for me. If I sweat a lot, sometimes I have to reapply, but otherwise, it’s been pretty good,” they said.
TAKE NOTE
Yet others shared their own tricks for preventing unwanted chafing.
“Shorts and deodorant on the thighs,” said one user.
“Megababe Thigh Rescue. I use it mainly for running in shorts, but it works great! Makes my thighs just smoothly slide past each other lol,” wrote another.
“I cut a pair of old stockings/pantyhose into ‘shorts’ that I can wear under skirts,” a Redditor commented.
“This works best for me – compared to baby powder, etc. – and because of how thin the material is, I don’t get sweaty either!” they continued.
“Monistat Chafing Relief Power Gel – been using is for years. Total life saver,” another chimed in.
“Chamois Buttr. Sporting goods stores carry it,” a Redditor advised.
“I wear boxer briefs and those really really help. Baby powder or a diaper rash cream usually does the trick too,” said yet another.
