Report makes exciting claim about Spurs and Federico Chiesa – Man United also keen

Federico Chiesa has just one year left on his current contract with Juventus, which has alerted both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United to the situation as they look to secure a cheap deal for the Italian winger.

It is widely believed Tottenham are in the market for a new winger to add to their roster this summer as Ange Postecoglou looks to bolster his attacking options.

Spurs may already have Heung-min Son, Dejan Kulusevski, and Brennan Johnson, but they have already extended Timo Werner’s stay in North London for another season.

Still, the Lilywhites are linked with a number of wide players as we head into the summer, but Federico Chiesa links have only just started to resurface again.

Last week, Fabrizio Romano claimed Juventus would be willing to offload Chiesa this summer, with Spurs interested in the Italy international.

Chiesa could be cheap for Spurs and Man United

Now, fresh reports out of Italy suggest Spurs are not alone in that pursuit, with Manchester United also keen, and a cut-price deal could be on the cards.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport (relayed by Il Bianconero), Tottenham, Manchester United, and even Bayern Munich all have Chiesa on their radars this summer. His “evolving situation” is expected to become a lot clearer in the coming weeks, once Euro 2024 is over.

TuttoSport back this up by claiming Chiesa’s future at Juventus is currently “uncertain,” and the chances of him getting a new contract are “gradually fading.”

Now, the chances of him leaving Turin this summer are “growing,” and those tracking Chiesa hope they can get a bargain.

With Michael Olise signing for Bayern Munich, you’d imagine Eberechi Eze is now off the market for Crystal Palace.

I wouldn’t grumble at Spurs opting to sign Chiesa instead, so it will be interesting to see if this one comes to fruition, as he would be a lot cheaper anyway.
