Ruth Langsford defended by fans as she continues to wear her wedding ring after Eamonn Holmes split

Taking to Instagram on Friday (June 21), the TV presenter shared a new cooking video of her favourite recipes from Slimming World.
Ruth appeared in good spirits during the recipe demo, but fans quickly noticed her wedding ring was still on her finger.
One asked: “Why is Ruth wearing her rings if [Eamonn] is all over the papers embarrassing Ruth?” Another echoed: “Why [do] you still [have] your wedding ring on?”
Another echoed: “Why u still got your wedding ring on.”
However, many of Ruth’s fans jumped into the comments to slam the intrusive questions about her personal life.
One person replied: “Why do you care so much?”
A second said: “It’s up to Ruth when she takes them off.”
A third added: “None of your business and Eammon isn’t embarrassing her.”
Just last week the TV star was spotted wearing her ring for a mirror selfie.
She also wore it as she appeared on QVC a week after the split announcement.
Ruth’s decision to keep her wedding ring on comes after hers and Eamonn’s finances were revealed.
The pair co-own media firm Holmes & Away Ltd and documents posted at Companies House show they recently confirmed they will continue as co-directors.
Holmes & Away Ltd was founded in 2009 and handed over Corporation Tax payments of £164,000 over the last two years.
The couple, who previously co-hosted This Morning, confirmed they will divorce last month.
Broadcaster Eamonn has moved out of his and Ruth’s marital home in Surrey.
He is also said to be “angry and blindsided” by Ruth’s decision to announce their separation.
