One savvy shopper has posted on a Facebook group the bargain find with a caption: “Scanning at 10p in Aldi.”

The attached image showed Fairy Dust Fabulosa tea lights which come in a pack of 18.

One excited user reacted by saying: “I’ve never seen them in Aldi could do with some Fairy dust.”

The tea lights normally retail at £7.99 for the same amount but the deal saw it discounted by almost 99 per cent.

The candles provide a long lasting fragrance and can be used as a great accessory to any room, or for heating scented oil.

Or, in case you fancy a cuppa, they can also be used in teapot warmers.

Fabulosa already has an army of devoted cleaning fanatics who have cupboards full of their disinfectants.

But shoppers have been sent into a frenzy after the popular brand announced its new range of scents.

Their new Soft Nectar collection is all the rage amongst the cleaning fans with people desperate to give it a try.

Meanwhile, Aldi is known for selling products on the cheap with the latest deal offering a “pretty” £9 middle aisle bargain.

It comes as shoppers raced to their nearest Aldi store to get their hands on the bargain retailers own branded veggie meals for as little as 99p.

The popular supermarket chain revealed their veggie alternatives to shoppers on a Facebook post.

And Aldi launched their own-branded gin dupe for just half the price of the original.

Aldi’s middle aisle bargains has caused another stir amongst shoppers after they unveiled a beauty item you can get for £3.99.

And a cherished chocolate bar has been axed by the bargain supermarket, leaving its sweet tooth customers shattered.

How to Save Money at Aldi

Unlike other major grocers, Aldi does not have a rewards or point card system but that does not mean you cannot save on your shop.

Every week the store releases a list of special buys, which are unique bargain products you find online at Aldi and in store.

The store releases a fresh range of deals every Thursday and Sunday, so be sure to check regularly to see what’s new.

Meanwhile, the store also regularly sells fruit and vegetables at highly discounted prices, as part of its ‘super six’ deal.

It also does weekly saving offers on typically pricey items such as meat and fish.

How to save money on your supermarket shop

THERE are plenty of ways to save on your grocery shop.

You can look out for yellow or red stickers on products, which show when they’ve been reduced.

If the food is fresh, you’ll have to eat it quickly or freeze it for another time.

Making a list should also save you money, as you’ll be less likely to make any rash purchases when you get to the supermarket.

Going own brand can be one easy way to save hundreds of pounds a year on your food bills too.

This means ditching “finest” or “luxury” products and instead going for “own” or value” type of lines.

Plenty of supermarkets run wonky veg and fruit schemes where you can get cheap prices if they’re misshapen or imperfect.

For example, Lidl runs its Waste Not scheme, offering boxes of 5kg of fruit and vegetables for just £1.50.

If you’re on a low income and a parent, you may be able to get up to £442 a year in Healthy Start vouchers to use at the supermarket too.

Plus, many councils offer supermarket vouchers as part of the Household Support Fund.
