‘Space Engineer for a Day’ – a celebration for the students of CanSat 2023-2024

What does a typical workday look like for a space engineer at ESA? On 17 and 18 June 2024, eager secondary school students were on a mission to find out! The winners of the national CanSat competitions from 24 countries gathered for the ‘CanSat - Space Engineer for a Day’ event at ESA's European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) to celebrate their achievements and learn what space engineering is all about.
