India, react to small, modular nuclear

Bill Gates' TerraPower, founded in 2006, has begun constructing the Natrium micro nuclear reactor in Wyoming. This project represents a new wave of small modular reactors (SMRs), which are being developed globally but currently operational only in China and Russia. SMRs like Natrium aim to provide scalable, standardized nuclear energy solutions that could potentially replace aging coal plants and meet rising energy demands.
